The U.S. board of Gethsemane International serves without compensation, and is composed of the following members:
Chip resigned as a Managing Director with Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc. in eastern Africa after starting what has now become Gethsemane International, Inc. While serving as missionaries in Kenya, Africa, Chip and his wife, Kim, saw desperate children living in the streets, eating the trash in garbage piles, abandoned with no hope. God placed a burden on their hearts to invest completely in the lives of these children, meeting their spiritual, physical, educational and emotional needs in a holistic manner. Kim and Chip started a school for these needy children in 2002 while they were still serving in Kenya. They are the proud parents of six children.
Musundi B. Wabuyele, works as a Scientist with a pharmaceutical company in the Indianapolis, IN area. Musundi believes that being part of Gethsemane International is a great avenue to serve God and be of help to those in need especially in developing countries. He and his wife would like to return to their native country, Kenya and apply their knowledge and skills in helping children, families and communities lead Godly and healthier lives. Gethsemane International has given Musundi the oppotunity to start this great mission.
